Turner & Ellerby provide accountancy and taxation services to a wide range of clients from individuals to the larger privately owned company. We serve clients from a wide range of agricultural, industrial and commercial fields.
Accountancy services are at the centre of the practice. We prepare accounts for a wide range of clients, including sole proprietors, partnerships, LLPs and limited companies.
Income tax affects all individuals whether they are employed, self employed or in partnership. Under self-assessment it is the taxpayer’s responsibility to ensure that these are completed correctly, and the Inland Revenue can enquire into any return submitted for up to one year after the due date for filing. Penalties apply if the Returns are submitted late. It is essential that the correct tax allowances and expenses are claimed.
We can assist in preparing management accounts.
Provision of comprehensive bookkeeping services to assist in the smooth running of your organisation. These include manual bookkeeping, computerised bookkeeping, periodical preparation of accounts, MTD, preparation of VAT Returns, implementation of accountancy operations, both manual and computerised, and review of your current accounting operations.
A payroll service is offered, preparing payslips, summary sheets, completion of Inland Revenue forms, annual forms P14/P60, P35, P45 preparation and general payroll queries. If you prefer to prepare your own payroll records, we offer training and support, which you can call on, if you have any difficulties.
